01. Precision Injection Molding

Low-Pressure Micro-Filling

The ultra-low viscosity of C420 facilitates rapid cavity filling with low injection pressures. It completely eliminates short shots in thin walls and multi-cavity precision electrical/chemical component molds.

02. High-Speed Wire & Tube Extrusion

High Line Speeds & Draw-Down

Recommended barrel L/D ratio is 20:1 to 25:1 with melt temperatures around 380 °C to 405 °C. Outstanding draw-down capability ensures high-speed wire coating and thin capillary extrusion without melt fracture.

03. Tooling Metallurgy

High-Nickel Alloy Components

All barrels, screws, hot-runner systems, and mold inserts in contact with molten resin must be fabricated from corrosion-resistant nickel alloys (such as Hastelloy® C-276 or Inconel®).

Packaging Standards

Everflon+™ PFA C420 is supplied as dust-free, uniform black conductive pellets.

45.4-kg (100-lb) Heavy-Duty Drums
Hermetically sealed with a double polyethylene (PE) moisture-barrier liner.

Storage & Pre-Drying

Resin properties are indefinite under dry ambient storage. Protect from airborne contaminants and condensation.

Drying: 100 °C (212 °F) for 4 Hours
Recommended prior to precision molding to eliminate absorbed surface moisture.

Safety & Exhaust Handling

Open and process containers only in well-ventilated facilities equipped with Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV).

Strict Smoking Prohibition
Avoid tobacco contamination to prevent polymer fume fever. Refer to the SDS.
