PFA Color Concentrate
Get to Know Everflon+™ PFA Color Concentrate
Everflon+™ PFA color masterbatch is a concentrated pellet in which high-quality pigments and any performance additives are pre-dispersed in a PFA carrier resin. The masterbatch is blended into virgin PFA (typically at 2–10% addition) during processing so manufacturers can achieve repeatable color and consistent functional properties without compromising the base polymer's behavior.
Achieve vibrant, durable coloration without compromising the exceptional properties of PFA. Our high-performance PFA Masterbatch is expertly engineered to overcome the critical challenges of pigmentation, ensuring superior stress crack resistance, thermal stability, and processability for the most demanding industrial applications.
How We Work with You
We combine long experience in pigment technology and fluoropolymer compounding to deliver masterbatches that balance color, performance and durability. Our services include:
Color matching (MIL, RAL, custom) and fast prototype sampling;
MFR and processing advice to reduce qualification time;
Small pilot runs for validation and scale-up support;
Full documentation (TDS, COA, compliance certificates) for regulated industries.
All the must‑haves.

| Various MFR Options | Masterbatches are tuned to match a range of PFA melt flow requirements for injection, extrusion or film processing. |
| Full Compliance | RoHS and REACH compliant and free of heavy metals as your requirement. |
| Features | High thermal tolerance: Formulated to withstand typical PFA processing (melting/processing temperatures near ~260–280 °C) without colorant degradation; Preserved chemical resistance: Designed to maintain PFA's resistance to acids, bases and organic solvents; Electrical integrity: Compatible formulations that do not undermine PFA's superior insulating properties — suitable for high-performance wire & cable uses; Durability: Colorfastness and long-term stability in demanding environments (chemical exposure, thermal cycling, sterilization where applicable). |
| Applications | Wire & cable jacketing and insulation (especially where high temperature and electrical performance are required); Tubing, fittings and linings for aggressive chemical and thermal environments; Films and sheets for protective or insulating layers; Injection-molded parts for electronics, aerospace and medical components where PFA's properties are needed plus color or added functionality |
The Challenge of Coloring PFA
Resin match: Masterbatch carrier must be compatible with the target PFA grade and melt flow index (MFI/MFR). Mismatch causes processing issues and poor dispersion.
Pigment choice & loading: Choosing pigments that tolerate PFA processing temperatures and keeping concentrations appropriate for wall thickness and end use are critical. Typical loading ranges are 2–10 wt% depending on color depth and application.
Dispersion quality: Uniform, fine dispersion is essential to avoid localized weak points that cause melt fracture or premature cracking in service.
Processing window control: Compounding and extrusion temperatures, residence time and shear must be optimized to prevent pigment or carrier degradation.
