FEP 4622
Balanced high-speed flow meets superior flex-life.
Engineered for high-throughput LAN/coaxial cable extrusion, thin-wall jackets, and crack-resistant molding.
High-Velocity Extrusion Stability: Engineered with a balanced Melt Flow Index (22.0–24.0 g/10min), FEP 4622 offers excellent melt delivery for LAN data cable jackets and thin-wall tubing while providing wider thermal processing latitude than ultra-fluid grades.
High MIT Flex Endurance: Delivers significantly higher resistance to Environmental Stress Cracking (ESCR) and flex fatigue compared to higher MFI resins. Ensures long-term jacket integrity under continuous vibration and tight bend radii.
Low Permittivity (2.03 @ 1 GHz): Guarantees minimum signal attenuation and phase distortion for high-frequency plenum cables, Category 6A/7/8 networking wires, and aerospace data conduits with >100 kV/mm dielectric armor.
UL 94 V-0 Certified & Chemical Inertness: Features a Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI) >95% with low smoke generation. Completely impervious to harsh solvents, hydraulic fluids, and fuels with continuous service rated to 205 °C (400 °F).
Preferred insulation and jacketing for Cat 6A/7/8 networking lines, high-frequency coaxial cables, and high-density telecom interconnects requiring rigorous flame-retardancy and low transmission loss.
Extrudes crystal-clear, ultra-smooth, flexible micro-tubing and medical catheters that demand crack-free bend performance, chemical inertness, and cleanroom bio-compatibility.
Provides optimal cavity filling for corrosion-resistant valve packings, chemical pump components, and multi-pin electrical connectors subject to continuous mechanical stress.
