FEP 4608
High melt strength meets extreme stress-crack resistance.
Engineered for high-integrity film extrusion, chemical processing linings, and heavy-duty industrial tubing.
MFI 6.0–8.0 g/10min Film Grade: Features higher molecular weight and enhanced melt strength, providing outstanding draw-down stability for blown and cast films, sheet extrusion, and seamless thick-wall anti-corrosion linings without sagging or thickness variation.
Extreme Crack Resistance: Delivers benchmark-tier environmental stress-crack resistance (ESCR) and outstanding MIT flex endurance. Prevents pinholing and micro-cracking in dynamic diaphragm pumps, flexible chemical hoses, and flex-rigid circuit substrates.
Ultra-Low Permittivity (2.03 @ 1 GHz): Guarantees zero-distortion high-frequency signal propagation and dependable electrical isolation (>100 kV/mm dielectric strength) for aerospace instrumentation, military airframe wiring, and high-voltage power leads.
Total Chemical Immunity: Limiting Oxygen Index (LOI) >95% with self-extinguishing safety. Defies ultra-aggressive oxidizers, harsh acids, caustics, and organic solvents continuously at service temperatures up to 205 °C (400 °F).
Premium grade for cast and blown FEP films, solar panel protective layers, composite vacuum bagging release sheets, and heat-sealable barrier laminates requiring pinhole-free purity.
Extrudes thick-wall anti-corrosion fluid lines, chemical transfer hoses, heat exchanger tubing, and rotomolded pipe liners exposed to extreme chemical mechanical fatigue.
Heavy-duty, crack-resistant wire insulation for high-temperature aerospace airframe cabling, oil & gas downhole sensor lines, and nuclear instrumentation conduits requiring extreme cut-through resistance.
