Inert to strong industrial solvents, acids, and bases. Hydrolytically stable with extremely low water absorption (< 0.01%).
Performs continuously up to 150 °C (302 °F) with full mechanical toughness and impact resistance retained even at cryogenic temperatures.
Controlled low melt flow allows precise transfer molding, compression molding, and heavy-wall encapsulation around metal inserts.

Molded Thick-Section Components: Complex parts molded with metal inserts requiring minimal stress cracking.
Pump Impellers & Fluid Handling: High abrasion resistance and mechanical strength under high shear.
Nuclear & High-Radiation Equipment: Meets IEEE 383 standards for nuclear power plant components.
Corrugated Tubing & Conduit: Extreme flex-fatigue life under dynamic thermal cycling.
Processing Techniques: Conventional melt-extrusion, injection, transfer, compression, and blow molding.
Barrel & Melt Temperatures: Heating zone up to approximately 340 °C (640 °F). Long L/D extruder barrels recommended.
Tool Metallurgy: Corrosion-resistant alloys (e.g., Hastelloy, Inconel) required in contact with molten resin.
Viscosity Behavior: Melt viscosity decreases with increasing shear rate, permitting narrow die extrusion.
Machine Recommendation: Reciprocating screw injection machines preferred.
