Spiral Cut Tubing
A spiral wrap for organizing wire, cable and hose bundles—with access where your assembly needs it.
Bring cable layout and service access into the same design conversation.
Use a wrap-based layout to gather related wires or hoses along a defined assembly path. Check retention at bends, transitions and connection points.
Account for lead exits in the harness drawing. Verify that the selected pitch and installed wrap arrangement accommodate each branch without pulling on the lead.
Consider how technicians will inspect, open and reassemble the bundle. Any reuse decision should account for wrap condition and the assembly’s maintenance requirements.
A helical cut turns a tube into an open wrap. Its geometry is part of the specification.
Define cut pitch as the axial distance per turn. Review pitch together with wall thickness and tube diameter when evaluating coverage and handling.
Evaluate the wrap on the actual bundle, including connectors, transitions and the smallest bend. Do not infer an expansion range from the tube diameter alone.
Trial-fit a sample. Check cut edges, lead exits, end retention and any contact with delicate jackets. Establish an installation method for the assembly.
Spiral cut tubing is a bundling wrap. The cut structure is not a sealed pressure boundary or a continuous barrier for fluid containment.
PTFE, FEP and PFA are fluoropolymer families to discuss for the proposed wrap. Confirm which Techyours+ configurations are available.
Discuss PTFE when evaluating a fluoropolymer wrap. Request finished-part data relevant to friction, temperature exposure, chemical contact and installation.
Discuss FEP where appearance and assembly handling are part of the brief. Confirm any requirements for visibility through the wrap using an actual sample.
Discuss PFA against the same operating conditions and drawings. Select using configuration-specific data rather than the resin name alone.
Material names do not establish an electrical insulation rating, flame classification or approved temperature range. Additives, color and the cut geometry must be included in the evaluation.
Define the assembly first. Then assess the wrap against its operating and maintenance requirements.
Consider grouped signal and supply leads with planned branch locations. Check identification, connector access and compatibility with cable jackets.
Assess cable organization along machine assemblies. For moving routes, test bend behavior, jacket contact and durability over the required motion cycle.
Consider external organization of compatible hose or cable bundles. Specify incidental chemical exposure; the wrap does not replace the hose’s containment function.
Evaluate serviceable instrument assemblies. Where contamination matters, define cleaning, extractables or particle criteria and test the finished wrap.
These are evaluation examples, not application approvals. Suitability must be established for the complete assembly.
Prepare the drawing, bundle information and operating conditions for a focused technical review.

Final grades, dimensions, pitch options, colors and operating limits require written confirmation. No numerical Techyours+ performance value or certification is asserted on this page.
It is fluoropolymer tubing cut along a helical path to form an open wrap for bundles. Resin and cut geometry are selected for the intended assembly.
A spiral cut creates an open helical path through the wall. Convoluted tubing has a corrugated profile; its wall structure and intended function must be checked separately.
The open spiral cut does not provide sealed containment. Use tubing or hose rated for the fluid service; evaluate the spiral wrap only for its external bundling role.
Branch routing is part of the wrap concept. Verify the actual lead size, pitch, exit location and jacket contact using an installation sample.
The resin’s dielectric properties do not establish the assembled wrap’s insulation rating. The open geometry and required clearances must be evaluated for the application.
Assess the condition of the wrap after removal, including edges and deformation. Reuse should follow a validated maintenance procedure for the assembly.
