Heat Shrink Tubing
Techyours+ Fluoropolymer Heat Shrink Tubing — The Invisible Shield for Your Critical Components
We master the art of taming rigid fluoropolymers into flexible, shape-memory protective skins. With precise heat application, our tubing recovers perfectly to encapsulate your core components, completely isolating them from harsh physical and chemical environments.
Ultra-Thin Wall Engineering: Maximum protection without adding bulk or rigid weight.
Ultimate Low Friction: Non-stick, anti-fouling surfaces that eliminate residue buildup and maximize production yields.
【The Extreme Veteran】— PTFE Heat Shrink Tubing
The Persona: The Ultimate Temperature Challenger.
Core Superpower: Operates continuously up to 260°C (500°F) with an ultra-low friction coefficient (0.05) comparable to ice.
Target Applications: Minimally invasive medical catheter jackets, aerospace high-voltage wire harnesses, and industrial furnace internal wiring.
【The Invisible Shield】— FEP Heat Shrink Tubing
The Persona: The Gentle, Crystal-Clear Defender.
Core Superpower: Optical-grade transparency combined with a low recovery temperature (175°C / 347°F), keeping heat-sensitive substrates perfectly safe.
Target Applications: Chemical sensor encapsulation, precision industrial roller covers, and components requiring routine visual inspection.
【The Perfectionist】— PFA Heat Shrink Tubing
The Persona: The Ultra-Pure Semiconductor Specialist.
Core Superpower: Extreme molecular purity. It never leaches metal ions or molecular impurities even under aggressive acid or high-pressure environments.
Target Applications: Semiconductor photolithography and etching chemical lines, oilfield downhole logging equipment, and heavy-duty chemical probes.
【The Combat Force】— ETFE Heat Shrink Tubing
The Persona: The Heavy-Impact & Radiation Crusher.
Core Superpower: Exceptional mechanical toughness, abrasion resistance, and radiation stability packaged in a lightweight profile.
Target Applications: Nuclear power plant monitoring systems, outer space satellite wiring, and high-friction automotive engine bay routing.
Professional Heat Recovery: 4 Steps to a Bubble-Free, Flawless Finish
Thorough Cleaning: Completely remove grease, dust, and moisture from the substrate surface. (Microscopic debris traps air, creating permanent, unremovable bubbles post-heating.)
Substrate Pre-Heating: If your substrate is metal (high thermal conductivity), pre-heat it to 60°C - 80°C before sliding the tube on. This prevents the cold metal from rapidly chilling the tube, which causes uneven shrinkage.
Unidirectional Progress (Crucial): Never apply heat randomly. Always start shrinking from one end to the other (End-to-End) or from the exact center outward (Center-Outward). Rotate the workpiece constantly while advancing the heat gun smoothly. This pushes trapped air out like toothpaste, ensuring a bubble-free, split-free profile.
Natural Cooling: Let the part cool down naturally at room temperature. Do not quench it in cold water, as rapid temperature drops introduce internal stress, causing deformation or micro-cracks in fluoropolymers.

Techyours+ Procurement Tip: Due to its high shrink ratio, PTFE experiences substantial longitudinal shrinkage (up to 15%). Always factor this length loss into your blueprint cutting parameters. If your application cannot tolerate exposed substrate ends after recovery, specify FEP or PFA, which hold an industry-leading length variance of within ±5%.
