Make routing easier to follow.
Assign distinct colors to line groups so technicians can follow the intended routing during assembly and inspection.
Colored Tubings
Techyours+™ / Color Fluoropolymers Tubing
Give every line a visual identity. Techyours+™ colored fluoropolymer tubing brings material selection, dimensional requirements and color specification into one engineering conversation.
Visual clarity, engineered in
Assign distinct colors to line groups so technicians can follow the intended routing during assembly and inspection.
Connect a tubing color to an equipment drawing, line label or internal identification plan. Keep the same reference across your team.
Use color alongside tags and documented procedures to distinguish lines during service. Confirm line identity before any connection or disconnection.
Define the color reference and acceptance criteria early, alongside material and dimensions. Evaluate production samples before approval.
Color is an identification aid. It does not establish fluid compatibility, pressure rating or a universal safety code.
A palette with a specification
Start with a visual target. Turn it into a measurable requirement through an agreed reference, finish and sample review.
Illustrative palette only. These swatches are not a stock list or physical color standard; screen appearance varies by device.
Provide an approved physical sample or a recognized color reference such as a RAL or Pantone designation. Confirm feasibility for the selected polymer and wall thickness.
Specify visual comparison conditions and, where needed, an agreed color measurement method and tolerance. Review appearance on the actual tubing construction.
Material first. Color alongside.
Discuss PTFE, FEP, PFA or ETFE as candidate materials. The color formulation, extrusion route and end-use requirements must be evaluated together.
When PTFE is the candidate material, discuss pigment compatibility, processing requirements and the properties needed in the finished tubing.
For a proposed colored FEP tube, specify whether fluid visibility matters. Evaluate how color loading and wall thickness affect the appearance of the sample.
For a proposed colored PFA tube, identify chemical exposure and any cleanliness or extractables requirements. Do not infer high-purity suitability from the base polymer alone.
For a proposed colored ETFE tube, define abrasion, handling and environmental requirements. Validate the finished formulation and geometry against the application.
Material families shown are selection candidates. Availability of a particular material, color and size combination requires confirmation. Unpigmented resin data does not automatically describe a colored finished tube.
From concept to component
Evaluate sleeves for connectors, cable assemblies and component insulation. Validate dielectric performance and coverage after recovery.
Assess protection for probes, sensor bodies and contact surfaces. Test against the actual chemicals, temperatures and exposure times.
Explore sleeves for assembly and processing tasks. Confirm whether the tubing is removed or retained, and request relevant documentation for the intended use.
Consider coverage where release and surface protection matter. Trial the fit, finish and durability under real operating conditions.
Turn an idea into a specification
| Requirement | Information to provide | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Material | Preferred polymer or application requirements | Grade, color formulation and production feasibility |
| Dimensions | Inside diameter, outside diameter or wall thickness; units and tolerances | An agreed, consistent dimensional specification |
| Color & appearance | Physical reference, finish, opacity or visibility requirements | Sample appearance and color acceptance criteria |
| Operating conditions | Media, temperature, pressure or vacuum, exposure time and bending | Finished-tube suitability and required validation |
| Delivery format | Cut lengths or coils, length tolerance and packaging requirements | Available formats, quantity and confirmed lead time |
| Documentation | Restricted-substance, traceability, cleanliness or sector-specific requirements | Evidence applicable to the exact supplied product |
No standard size range, minimum order quantity or lead time is implied here. Confirm the final offer and technical requirements before ordering.
From sample to approval
Share the drawing, operating environment, dimensional requirements and color reference. Identify any critical documentation needs.
Review color, wall appearance, fit and routing on a representative tubing sample. Agree on the reference used for future acceptance.
Test the properties that matter to the application, such as chemical exposure, pressure performance, electrical behavior or extractables where required.
Document agreed dimensions, color acceptance, packaging and traceability requirements. Confirm applicable inspection records with the supplier.
Make the next step clear
Submit a physical reference or recognized color designation for evaluation. Feasibility depends on the selected material, pigment system, dimensions and end-use requirements.
Do not assume equivalence. Pigments and additives may affect appearance and other properties. Confirm the required performance using data or tests for the exact finished formulation.
Color, pigment type, loading and wall thickness influence visibility. State your transparency or opacity requirement and review a representative sample.
Suitability depends on the formulation, finished product and intended use. Request applicable compliance and testing documents; material identity or color alone is not sufficient.
Colors do not define pressure ratings or a universal fluid code. Follow the identification standard applicable to your installation and retain labels and documentation.
