PFA Liquid Coating
Advanced water-based PFA liquid topcoats designed for parts that are difficult to powder coat, such as acute angles and complex geometries. Delivering exceptional clarity, superior chemical resistance, and FDA compliance.
Ideal for parts with acute angles or intricate designs where traditional electrostatic powder coating cannot easily reach or provide thin uniform films.
Engineered for continuous operating temperatures up to 260 °C (500 °F), maintaining superior non-stick release and chemical inertness.
Provides thin film build options (0.8–1.2 mil / 20–30 µm per coat) with total film builds up to 3 mil (75 µm) through multiple coats.
Fully compliant with US FDA food contact regulations and EU Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 when applied with recommended primer systems.
High-performance water-based liquid PFA topcoat engineered for superior thin-film builds and complex geometries.
Theoretical coverage reaches 6.91 m²/kg (365 ft²/gal) at 25 µm (1.0 mil) dry film thickness for Grade 420-210, ensuring precise film control on intricate parts.
Engineered for flawless wetting on metals, glass, and ceramics, reaching complex geometries where powder coats fail.
Gently mix for 15 minutes at 30–100 RPM using an axial flow impeller (propeller blade) sized 10–20 cm depending on container volume. Creates a visible vortex while ensuring homogeneous suspension without foaming.
Filtered through a 100 mesh (105 µm) stainless steel or nylon screen to eliminate micro-agglomerates, guaranteeing smooth atomization through standard spray gun tips.
Supplied at ready-to-spray viscosity (250–750 cps) requiring no additional dilution. Equipment clean-up is safely and cleanly performed using water.
Physical constants are averages only and may vary up to ±5%.
Precision liquid spray parameters for metals, glass, and ceramic substrates.
Apply to clean substrate free of residual oil. Mix well for 15 minutes with axial impeller (50–100 RPM). Filter through 100 mesh (105 µm) stainless steel or nylon screen.
Use Reduced Pressure, conventional, or HVLP gun. Nozzle: 1.0–1.4 mm. Air pressure: 2.0–3.0 bar. Apply over air-dried or force-dried primer (8–10 µm).
Dry coating for 10 minutes at 150 °C (300 °F) to evaporate water completely before high-temperature baking.
Cure 5 or 10 min at 750 °F (400 °C). For multiple coats: first coat 15 min at 700 °F (370 °C), subsequent coats 5 or 10 min at 750 °F. Bakes at 800 °F reduce any brownish cast.
Trusted worldwide in general industrial manufacturing, food processing equipment, and office automation.
Provides thin, uniform anti-stick barriers on parts with acute angles or intricate geometries where powder coatings cannot easily reach.
FDA-compliant liquid PFA topcoat (420-210) offers pristine non-stick release for commercial baking molds, chutes, and food handling equipment.
Ensures smooth toner and paper handling in office automation equipment, preventing adhesive build-up and reducing friction on precision rollers.
