FEP melt-flows during baking to form an exceptionally dense film of very low porosity, making it ideal for low-abrasion release applications.

Gently mix for 15 minutes or more using an axial flow impeller until contents are homogeneous. Adjust mixer speed so that a vortex appears while avoiding air entrapment. Insufficient mixing leads to application defects.
Filter through a 200 mesh (approx. 75 µm) stainless steel or nylon screen before spraying to remove micro-agglomerates and maintain seamless flow through fine fluid tips.
Equipment clean-up is effortlessly performed using water. Use deionised water as thinner or additive when adjusting application parameters.
Physical constants are averages only and may vary up to 25%.
Precision liquid spray parameters for aqueous FEP topcoats.
Gently mix 15 minutes or more until homogeneous using an axial flow impeller. Filter through 200 mesh (approx. 75 µm) stainless steel or nylon screen.
Use RP (Reduced Pressure), conventional, or HVLP gun. Nozzle: 0.8–1.2 mm. Atomizing air pressure: 2–3 bar (30–45 psi). Max 12 µm DFT per coat (min 2 coats).
Dry coating for 10–15 min at 105–150 °C (220–300 °F) metal temperature to evaporate water completely.
Cure 20 minutes at 380–390 °C (720–730 °F) after each coat. Optional long bake (up to 90 min at 330–340 °C) enhances inter-coat adhesion and corrosion resistance.
